Welcome Student Interns!
The 成人头条 Center for Community Engagement collaborates with community partners to provide students with internships and career development opportunities. The Community Work Study Program (CWS) allows students qualified for federal and state financial aid to work part-time for non-profit organizations serving the public interest. Students who participate in this program enrich their college experience and will develop an understanding of community needs and social causes.
Goals of this program include:
-
Through employment with 成人头条, students can develop an interest in public service and be allocated to local non-profit, government, or community organizations.
-
Utilize acquired skills and theories to solve problems and investigate situations outside the classroom.
-
Enhance career-relevant skills, including critical thinking, work ethic, teamwork, communication, and leadership.
-
Describe how experiences will affect your personal, academic, and professional goals.
