Admission Requirements
Applicants to this program must
- Hold a baccalaureate degree
- Have a minimum of 2.5 GPA
Students may be classified as non-degree seeking students or have the certificate program incorporated into their degree requirements for admission. Students who complete the TPW certificate and decide to pursue a graduate degree at a later date may apply to the Rhetoric and Writing Studies Master’s program and request that the units become part of their program at admission.
Application Process
New ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ Students
Complete the ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ School application and include:
- Official transcripts
- Application fee
- A one-page statement of purpose that explains how the TPW ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ Certificate will help you meet your career interests and goals, how your history and background qualify you for this field of study, and how your interest in online learning will help you succeed in the program.
Already Admitted ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ Students
Submit a one -page statement of purpose to Dr. Evelyn Posey. In your statement, explain how the TPW ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ Certificate will help you meet your career interests and goals, how your history and background qualifies you for this field of study, and how your interest in online learning will help you succeed in the program.
