Dr. Levi Martin
Having been a part of the English Department for the past decade, I couldn’t be more thrilled to continue teaching in this dynamic environment. Working closely with students has been an immensely gratifying experience, as I witness their projects flourish and take on remarkable forms. The constant influx of fresh ideas and innovative approaches to writing that emerge within the classroom never fails to amaze and inspire me.
My time at ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ dates back to 2004 when I first embarked on my academic pursuits. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to study and work within this institution, culminating in my Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Composition Studies. Both my undergraduate degree in Print Media Journalism and my master’s degree in Rhetoric and Writing Studies were completed here at ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ, solidifying my commitment to this university and its exceptional academic community.
My doctoral dissertation focused on the development and adaptation of collaborative practices and pedagogies within Technical and Professional Communication courses, a topic that deeply resonates with my passion for effective workplace communication. Currently, I am enthusiastically engaged in exploring collaboration practices within composition classrooms, refining instruction methodologies, and delving into the intersections of rhetoric, technology, interface, and interaction design.
I am eager to continue contributing to the growth of our students and the advancement of our academic community.
