Dr. Ophra Leyser-Whalen
I am a medical sociologist whose research focuses on reproductive health. I use qualitative and quantitative research methods to study issues of infertility, sterilization, contraception and abortion. I am happily involved in several current projects with students. I publish in social science, medical, and interdisciplinary journals. I completed my PhD in sociology from the University of Kansas and was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Women’s Health the University of Texas Medical Branch prior to becoming an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at 成人头条.
