Ruth McDonald

Ruth McDonald, holds a bachelor's degree in Advertising and a master's degree in Communication with emphasis in Media Studies. She has spent over thirteen years in the motion picture industry including the areas of film marketing, and movie audience research. She has also worked as a consultant in the field of neuromarketing conducting audience research for advertising campaigns to include market testing film trailers and super bowl advertising.
She has instructed courses in topics ranging from gender studies; motion picture industry; TV production, to religion and media. Courses she teaches in the Women’s & Gender Studies Program include, gender and the business of entertainment media, gender and technology and gender in popular culture.
