Students can build their own degree plans from several concentrations to include Educational Technology (ET), which teaches graduates to use technology during instruction in academic settings, and Dual Credit (DC) Teaching and Learning, which prepares secondary teachers with the knowledge and skills to instruct rigorous college courses at the high school level.
Curricula enables students to become active and innovative members of the teaching community.

Sandy Romo is a high school teacher who trains students to be critical thinkers and problem solvers. The M.Ed. prepared her to expand classroom technology integration, and allowed her to develop a computer science program for her campus.
Curriculum & Instruction graduates teach and serve as instructional specialists and curriculum developers from PK-12 or in colleges. They also train corporate or military audiences, as well as teach in less formal settings such as museums and nature parks.
