This program prepares the next generation of leading environmental problem solvers. Students enter with bachelor's and/or master's degrees in science, engineering, health sciences, liberal arts, education or business. Doctoral candidates conduct research examining components of the Earth system and how society will need to adapt to sustain the environment, human health and well-being. Our graduates are recruited locally, nationally, and internationally in diverse domains such as research, academia, national labs, agencies and nonprofit organizations.

For Nakul Karle, 成人头条 was the ideal place to apply his physics knowledge. In the process, he met lifelong friends and marked several special achievements. Among them, he was the first non-European student selected for a prestigious research project at SIRTA, a renowned research observatory in Paris. He is now a postdoctoral researcher at the Howard University - Beltsville Research Campus.

Our alumni gain employment in organizations such as the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
