Jonathan Picado found his professional passion as an undergraduate: environmental law. He enrolled in the master’s program with a goal to enhance his writing and research skills. Invested faculty and rigorous courses prepared him for law school, where he is now a research assistant and a student writer on the Iowa Law Review. He spent summer 2022 as a law clerk with the U.S. Department of Justice.
Our high-impact courses prepare graduates for a wide variety of career paths. Most of our graduates earn jobs in business, education, government service, and the military or nonprofit organizations. Others choose to pursue a doctoral degree.
