This program prepares professionals to study learning through a variety of perspectives to improve education, especially in the U.S.-Mexico border region. Whether they choose to study topics that influence language and literacy learning, participate in cutting-edge research on STEM education, or examine how sociocultural perspectives and contexts influence schools and communities, the program equips students with the knowledge and skills to make a meaningful impact.
Specialize in literacy/biliteracy education, STEM education or sociocultural foundations education
Work as a paid teaching or research assistant with internationally renowned faculty
