Joint Admission Medical Program (JAMP)
Created by the Texas Legislature, JAMP is a unique partnership between all nine Texas medical schools and sixty-seven public and private institutions.
This program targets highly qualified and economically disadvantaged Texas resident students, supporting them with:
- Support through undergraduate scholarships and summer stipends
- Free MCAT preparation
- Summer internships experiences
- Clinical enrichment opportunities
- Guaranteed admission to a participating Texas medical school
- Medical school

The JAMP program offers financial and academic support for students who demonstrate academic excellence and a strong interest in entering a Texas medical school.
When to apply: No later than student's second year of college
Application Opening: May 1st of each year
