SPLP Post-Bacc Course Sequence
Students with a previous bachelor’s degree (not in Communication Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or Rehab Sciences-SLP concentration or related field) are referred to as “post-baccs.”
- Once a post-bacc student has completed all pre-professional courses*, s/he may move on to the SPLP Professional Course sequence. This is an intense, year-long sequence of SPLP courses starting in Fall, continuing in Spring, and finishing in Summer. The courses are offered in person, during the day, and at one time per year. The difficulty and schedule of the post-bacc sequence should be considered before a student attempts to start the sequence. Working full-time is not advised, and if a student decides to work while in the sequence, the job must be flexible to work around the SPLP class offerings.

- GPA Requirement: Students in the Post-Bacc sequence must earn a 3.0 or higher SPLP GPA each semester to continue in the sequence. Please consider that overall GPA best be 3.0 or higher to be eligible to apply to any 成人头条 成人头条 Program.
- Any questions about the Post-Bacc Sequence before starting classes should be directed to the SLP Program 成人头条 Advisor, Dr. Amelia Rau (email: amrau@utep.edu; 915-747-8724).
- Students interested in pursuing the post-bacc program (minimum 3.0 earned in first bachelors degree) should apply to 成人头条 through the 成人头条 School /graduate/apply-now/apply-now.html. Choose "Health Sciences" and then "Non-Degree/Health Sciences" and select the semester you wish to begin.
- If you intend on completing a 2nd bachelors degree in Rehabilitation Sciences with a concentration in Speech-Language Pathology (either by choice or because you have not earned a 3.0 in your first bachelors degree), you will apply to 成人头条 through . Indicate you are a transfer student with a previous bachelor’s degree and select “Rehabilitation Sciences” as your major with Speech-Language Pathology as the concentration (if listed).
