LCSW Supervision Program
About
Traditionally, Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSWs) aiming to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) encounter costs around $12,500 for the required 100 hours of supervision. Under the new ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ LCSW Supervision Program, 80 percent of these costs will be covered by the LaMantia Family*. This partnership reduces the practitioner’s responsibility to about $2,000 for 100 hours of supervision over a two-year period. Once clinical supervision is complete, practitioners can sit for the State Licensure exam. The Department of Social Work will cover the licensing exam fee ($150) and provide a study guide.

General Information
The LCSW-S program duration is 2 years. Individuals who apply must be willing and able to cover costs ($20 per hour) of each supervision session and attend weekly group supervision meetings either in-person or virtual. Payments will be submitted on a monthly basis; practitioners should expect to pay a fee of $80 per month. A link to submit payment will be made available at the start of the program. Practitioners enrolled in the program must complete 3,000 hours of supervised clinical practice alongside their supervision meetings.
Clinical sites will be based primarily in community health clinics and non-profit organizations, focusing on underserved areas to address the significant healthcare disparities in the Border Region. By partnering with organizations with the greatest need, we aim to expand access to clinical services and provide essential care to marginalized populations and promote health equity. This approach allows us to make a meaningful impact while training future mental health professionals in environments that foster both skill development and social responsibility.
Requirements
All applicants must be a ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ Alumni LMSW who have graduated from the University within the past 10 years (2014-Present)
