 We are located on the 4 ^th floor of the Fox Fine Arts building in room M446.  The library can only be accessed by the outdoor walkway between the two main halves of the building.

We have over 20,000 scores, 1,500 books, and 13,000 CDs and vinyl recordings.

Search for your item and locate the “call number.” Write it down and bring your call number to the front desk.

Check Out Policies:

Music Library checkout is limited to current music majors and department Faculty and Teaching Assistants. All items are due by Monday of finals week during the semester in which are checked out.  Only TAs and Faculty qualify for deadline extensions. Failure to return a library item will result in a $50 fine per item for replacement. Holds may be placed on students’ account for lost items. Ensemble score items are limited to faculty and TA check out only. CDs can only be checked out and used in the music library.

Our computer lab has 24 work stations, 24 of which are fitted with piano keyboards and music software.

 Need headphones? Check out a pair at the front desk. You can play CDs on our computers.

Student Printing:

Students can print from the student printer in the library using funds in their student account.

To print from a computer lab computer:

1. Click “print”
2. Select printer ³ÉÈËÍ·ÌõBW
3. Go to the printer in the back of the room
4. Scan the QR code with your phone
5. Sign in and release print job

 To print from the browser:

1. Go to studentprinting.utep.edu

The music library study room provides a spacious and comfortable area for students to work quietly in groups or on their own.
