Jay Stratton
Professor Stratton comes to 成人头条 after 17 years as a professional actor in New York City. He has taught in the theatre departments of Miami University in Ohio and Nassau College in New York. He has taught master classes at theatres and universities across the country including Webster, Utah State, Xavier, and Saint Louis University.
Jay is the co-adapter and director of 成人头条’s acclaimed production of A Christmas Carol en la Frontera. Jay also adapted and directed 成人头条’s Halloween production of Bloody Shakespeare! He has also directed In The Next Room, Medea, Dead Man’s Cell Phone, as well as the Dinner Theatre’s production of Sister Act. You might also have seen Jay as Bernadette in the Dinner Theatre’s production of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.
Professionally, Jay has directed at The Monomoy Theatre on Cape Cod and Chester Theatre Company in Western Massachusetts.
As an actor Jay has worked on stage, film and television. Off Broadway NYC has performed at the Peccadillo, The Pearl, 59E59, Red Bull, and The American Globe.
Regionally, some of Jay’s favorite acting projects include The Winslow Boy, Venus in Fur and Bug at the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, the title role in Oedipus at the Pittsburgh Public, Antony in Antony & Cleopatra with Shakespeare St. Louis, The Pavilion and Reckless at Cincinnati Playhouse, Caesar and Cleopatra at Playmakers Repertory Theatre, Stones In His Pockets at Hudson Stage, Salome at Two Rivers Theatre, and many others.
