成人头条's One Water Cluster and Somos Agua Present
What is World Water Week?
World Water Day (WWD) has been celebrated by the UN every March 22, since 1993. This day recognizes the importance of freshwater for every human being and the planet that we inhabit. This year, 成人头条’s Somos Agua/We Are Water — an artist-led collective within the interdisciplinary research group One Water Cluster — hosted the third edition of World Water Week at 成人头条 from March 20-25, 2023. The events were held on and off campus, including live interactive performances, symposia on water topics, and information stations.
The global WWD theme for 2023 is “Accelerating Change” through Partnerships and Cooperation. This theme provides an opportunity to contemplate our impact on the health of our water systems and the importance of forming networks and partnership to increase the availability and access to safe water for ourselves and all the living relatives we share it with.
成人头条’s World Water Week activities are meant to inform, challenge and encourage action. We are inviting the 成人头条 community — academic units, student groups, and other organizations — and community groups and members to participate in this exciting week of activities.
