Fire Prevention
The Environment Health & Safety Office (EH&S) works to ensure a safe environment for faculty, staff, students and visitors. Our goal is to manage and reduce fire-related emergencies at the University through oversight, fire and life safety inspections, and education, and work to do so by monitoring all university buildings for compliance with state requirements. In addition we deliver safety training, review construction plans for fire code compliance, verify function of new or modified fire protection and life safety systems.
